Certincoat Certincoat® Low Emissivity coatings combine exceptional energy savings performance with the durability and ease of handling of clear glass.
Glass coatingss
Once a bottle has been manufactured, a special coating can be applied to retain the strength of the glass and as primer for a cold end coating. Hot-end coatings maintain the strength of the glass, maximising the economic life of the bottle while keeping breakages to a minimum.
They are applied in combination with cold-end coatings, which increase scratch resistance and improve lubricity as well as filling speed.
Industerro distributes three types of glass coating: Certincoat®, a hot-end solution manufactured by Arkema, Tegoglas®, a cold-end product developed by Arkema, and Glasskote®, a cold-end product developed by TOTAL, Both cold-end solutions were specifically designed for returnable bottles and both greatly facilitate high-speed handling (during inspection and packaging, for example).
